CPAT Workshop Success!
Our first FDNY / CPAT Workshop is now in the books, and it couldn't have gone any better. The program was a complete success with everybody coming away with a better understanding of what needs to be done to pass. In a small, informal setting, we were able to cover a tremendous amount of information in a very short period of time.
In addition, all attendees experienced a true CPAT Workout that started off with 3 minutes and 20 seconds of actual vested step mill training -- something every candidate must experience before the day of his or her test.
The Sunrise Health and Racquet Club was the perfect facility to hold the event, and I want to thank them for the gracious hosting. We had full access to all equipment and freely moved around the entire gym. My trainers and I were able supervise all attendees as everybody went through my STS highly CPAT-specific training.
After an initial 45 minute lecture, it was all hands-on. Each candidate left with a copy of my book and brand new CPAT Basics Manual, as well as a clear understanding of how to train for the FDNY physical. Because of all the information given, it is important that a home review course be included, and everybody was happy to have a written back up to take home.
The next class is scheduled for August 18 and is expected to sell out fast. For the sake of quality training, class sizes are limited. I suggest you reserve your spot today.
