What You Need to Start a Kettlebell Beginner Program
  1. Desire to improve physical conditioning / appearance
  2. Willingness to excel, with sharp focus and strong mindedness
  3. 20 or 30 minutes of dedicated time, 3 to 5 days each week
  4. A clean bill of health (medical clearance)
  5. Access to a qualified kettlebell coach / trainer
  6. Professional grade kettlebell for use with timed sets
The first four rules are up to you. If you live on Long Island or in the New York City Metro area you have access to AKC Fitness LI, which takes care of the last two. Beginner Classes are held on Monday / Wednesday at 9:30 AM and Tuesday / Thursday at 7 PM. AKC Fitness LI also offers a Free Trial session to all potential members.

When used properly, a professional grade kettlebell is a fat burning missile aimed right at you. And by employing the Fedorenko Method you're able to squeeze the absolute most out of every set, every rep, multiplying results ten fold in strength and endurance.
